Minister for Energy Angus Taylor says the Morrison governments plan for net zero by 2050 focuses on a technology approach to transition there and focuses on supporting our farmers This plan is the right plan our plan is the right plan for Australia Mr Taylor said Now we understand that theres a choice here theres a choice between on the one hand technology and on the other hand taxes Now the last time those opposite were in government they imposed a tax a carbon tax on all Australian manufacturing on all Australians indeed and we saw one in eight jobs in manufacturing lost when they were in government Those opposite dont even have targets let alone a plan when it comes to 2030 the only plan that Labor knows is how to destroy jobs how to destroy manufacturing in this country We understand the need for strong economic plan to reduce emissions and provide jobs for all Australians
